Terms of Service

Bants is a conversational AI app developed and operated by Phanes Innovation Labs (Australia). It lets you sign in, choose a persona, exchange messages, and request generated images through Photo mode. These Terms govern your use of the public website, the mobile app, and related backend services.

Parts of the service may change, improve, or be removed over time as Bants evolves.

The current mobile app includes account sign-in and session-based access controls. You are responsible for access to your account and for any activity that occurs through your use of Bants.

If we believe your use of the service is abusive, unlawful, harmful to others, or technically disruptive, we may limit or suspend access.

You may not use Bants to break the law, harass or threaten others, attempt to extract secrets or credentials, interfere with the service, bypass quota or billing controls, or use the app in a way that creates safety, fraud, or abuse risk.

You may not reverse engineer or misuse the service in a way that would reasonably damage Bants, its providers, or other users.

Bants does not permit sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise NSFW content generation through the service.

We may block, refuse, restrict, or terminate access to requests or accounts that attempt to generate or use Bants for prohibited sexual content or other disallowed content.

Bants generates responses and, in some cases, images using third-party services. Outputs may be wrong, incomplete, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your situation.

Do not rely on Bants for medical, legal, financial, crisis, or other high-stakes decisions. You remain responsible for how you use any output.

Bants offers a free plan and a Pro tier. The free plan includes a limited monthly credit grant. Bants Pro removes the standard chat credit cost and includes a larger recurring credit grant for Photo mode and other premium actions.

If you purchase Bants Pro on iOS, pricing, billing frequency, and any trial terms should be shown to you in the app before you confirm purchase. Purchases are billed through the platform purchase flow, and subscriptions are expected to auto-renew unless you cancel them through the applicable device account settings.

Refunds, billing disputes, and platform-specific purchase rights are generally handled through the platform billing provider unless applicable law requires otherwise.

You keep rights you have in the content you submit. By using Bants, you authorize Bants and its service providers to process your inputs and outputs as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

Bants and its branding, software, website content, and service design remain the property of their respective owners.

Bants supports deletion of individual conversations and includes an account deletion flow.

Some records may still be retained where required for security, billing reconciliation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or technical backups.

Bants is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind to the extent allowed by law.

To the extent allowed by law, Bants will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the service.

We may update these Terms as the product changes. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
